If it's true that one can know a man's heart by what his hands produce, anyone can look at Daniel's work and know what he loves: his home, the Lowcountry. Daniel was born in Charleston, SC and has lived between Mount Pleasant and Charleston his entire life.

Daniel is made to work with his hands. He spent nearly 20 years as an automotive technician before transitioning to metal art in 2012, and most recently expanding his powder coating business during the Covid pandemic.

Powder and ceramic coating has been part of Daniel's metal art business for the last eight years. With the changes in the retail market, it made sense to invest further in the powder coating aspect of his business.  After pouring a new slab, raising the roof and closing in the lean-to, then adding the 7'x7'x9' oven and relocating the 2'x2'x3' oven, he's ready to roll!

While he is honored to continue filling custom metal art orders and maintains inventory in a few retail locations, he is excited to have shifted his efforts towards powder and ceramic coating. From marine to automotive to furniture and more - he can't wait to take on your project!
